Fund-rising seems these days to have a fixed period of fund-raising, and at the end, all the donated money is given, even if it's more or much more than the target.
I'm doing this a bit differently, with a view to minimzing how much each donor gives.
There's a fund-raising target, and fund-raising runs for a fixed period of time (one week).
At the end of the week, if the target is exceeded, then the amount donors give is reduced, so that the targert is exactly met.
So if the target is, say, 1500 euro, and after a week 2000 euro is pledged, then we need only 1500 / 2000 = 75% of each pledge, and that's what happens.
I did this because it seemed to me the cost of what's being done should be shared as widely as can be managed, so that the cost is for each donor reduced as much as possible.
As such, the "Reduced" column shows the amount of each pledge after the reduction from the target being exceeded.
